The Wave Maiden.
It's been a while since I posted online. Leaving London and trying to start a new life, my own company and a marriage will do that to a guy's online presence I guess.
However, I got to design a logo for the lovely Ali and Paul at The Wave Maiden, a new bar and grill starting in Portsmouth.
They had a really clear idea of style and concept, but Art Nouveau isn't my usual thing so this was an awesome challenge to take Mucha style Nouveau and make a vector capable logo with it.
i'm really happy with it, the clients like it. This was one of those jobs where you wish the client had infinite budget because you have so many great ideas for where the identity can go.
I cannot wait to see this on a hanging sign.

Double Threat Skates Logo design
I can finally talk about this. So a few months ago the lovely Kitty Decapitate and Goregasm Ladyburger who both skate for LRG brawling asked me about designing a logo for the first bricks and mortar derby store in London. They had a really good brief but time was massively tight as crash and I were off to japan. They were epic clients and what we came up with was this.
Clean, impactful, single colour, incorporating the London skyline and moving the conversation forward from the usual distressed type and punk lettering.
I'm so proud of it and love seeing them bringing it to life.
so check them out here
